My culinary journey really began when I was twelve years old, spending summer afternoons with my neighbor, Mrs. Hassan, who taught me that cooking is a language of care. She showed me how to layer spices, how to trust my senses when seasoning, and most importantly, how cooking for others is one of the most genuine ways to express love and hospitality. Her kitchen always smelled like cardamom and rose water, and she taught me that every dish tells a story.

During my teenage years, I became fascinated by the way different cultures approach the same basic human need—nourishing ourselves and our loved ones. I started collecting recipes from friends’ families, experimenting with fusion techniques, and developing my own personal style that blended traditional Middle Eastern flavors with international influences and modern techniques.

I’ll never forget the first dinner party I hosted at age 19. I spent weeks planning the menu, testing recipes, and perfecting every detail. As I’ve grown and evolved, so has my cooking. Today, at 26, Rania Cooks represents everything I’ve learned and continue to discover about the art of home cooking.
