  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 cups mixed shredded cheese (gruyere, cheddar, parmesan)
  • 2 large yellow onions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Slice onions and caramelize them in butter and olive oil over medium heat for about 40-50 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Cut turkey bacon into thirds and cook slowly in a skillet until crispy; save drippings.
  3. In the same skillet, whisk flour into reserved drippings over medium heat until golden brown.
  4. Gradually stir in heavy cream and milk; bring to a boil before reducing to a simmer.

  6. Cook pasta al dente according to package instructions; drain well.
