  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan thoroughly.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add to the wet mixture alternately with sour cream.
  4. Layer half of the batter into the prepared pan. Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle half over the batter. Top with remaining batter and sprinkle with leftover cinnamon sugar. Swirl gently.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
