  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup brewed Earl Grey tea
  • 1 cup strong coffee
  • 24 ladyfingers (Savoiardi)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

  1. Brew Earl Grey tea and strong coffee; allow to cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Dip ladyfingers quickly into the cooled tea mixture and layer in a serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the cream mixture over the ladyfingers, then repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and remaining cream.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving. Dust with cocoa powder before slicing.
