  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (plus more for dusting)
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp butter (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cream cheese filling by mixing softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Assemble sandwiches by spreading the cream cheese mixture on one side of four bread slices, layering sliced strawberries and strawberry jam before topping with remaining bread slices.
