  • 1 lb ground chicken (preferably lean)
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, chopped onion, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper until well combined but not overmixed.
  3. Divide the mixture into four portions and shape each portion into an oval loaf.
  4. Place the loaves on the prepared baking sheet with space between them.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Allow resting for a few minutes before serving.
