  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2 tablespoons Dry Masala Chai
  • 1 cup Custard Powder (or cornstarch)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, white sugar, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, cream butter with golden syrup until fluffy. Mix in water and baking soda.

  4. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the dough and cut into shapes.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely.
  7. Prepare custard by mixing powder with water until smooth; let it thicken.
  8. Assemble by spreading custard between two cookies.
