Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix sliced peaches with granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add melted butter and milk; stir until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish without stirring. Spoon peach mixture evenly over the batter without mixing.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
