  • 1 medium Red Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Sumac
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Mint
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Puree
  • 1/4 cup Plain Flour or Chickpea Flour
  • Fresh Parsley and Coriander (chopped)
  • Oil for Frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, crumble the firm tofu and mix in the red onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, sumac, dried mint, chili powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Stir in the tomato puree and flour until the mixture holds together.
  3. Shape the mixture into kebab forms using clean hands.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the kebabs for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or salad.
