  • 360 ml freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 150 g cane sugar
  • 120 ml non-dairy milk (unsweetened)
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 0.25 teaspoon sea salt
  • 60 g vegan butter (cold and cubed)

Instructions

  1. Zest the oranges before juicing them to capture aromatic oils. Juice until you have 360 ml.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine orange zest, juice, sugar, non-dairy milk, cornstarch, and salt. Stir gently until well blended.
  3. Gradually bring the mixture to medium heat while stirring continuously until thickened (about 10-15 minutes).
