- 1 medium honeydew melon (cubed)
- 1 cup blackberries
- 4 large basil leaves (chiffonade cut)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons liquid honey or maple syrup
- Sea salt to taste
- Slice the honeydew melon in half and scoop out the seeds. Cut into bite-sized cubes.
- Rinse the blackberries under cold water and pat dry.
- Prepare the basil by stacking the leaves, rolling them tightly, and slicing thinly to create chiffonade.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey or maple syrup, and sea salt until well combined.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine honeydew cubes, blackberries, and basil. Drizzle with dressing and toss gently to coat.
