  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 4 large basil leaves (chiffonade cut)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons liquid honey or maple syrup
  • Sea salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice the honeydew melon in half and scoop out the seeds. Cut into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Rinse the blackberries under cold water and pat dry.
  3. Prepare the basil by stacking the leaves, rolling them tightly, and slicing thinly to create chiffonade.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey or maple syrup, and sea salt until well combined.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine honeydew cubes, blackberries, and basil. Drizzle with dressing and toss gently to coat.
