  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk; let sit for 5 minutes. In another bowl, mix ground beef, grated onion, egg, allspice, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Add soaked breadcrumbs and stir gently.

  3. Remove meatballs and set aside. In the same skillet, melt more butter; whisk in flour until golden brown. Gradually add beef broth while stirring until thickened. Stir in heavy cream and soy sauce.
