Main Ingredients
  • 2 medium ripe avocados peeled and pitted
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional
  • 1 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped, optional

Method
 

Prepare the Avocado Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe avocados with a fork until smooth.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined and creamy.
Add Cheese and Serve
  1. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped cilantro if using.
  2. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
