Method
- Brew a strong cup of coffee or espresso and let it cool down. Mix in the amaretto liqueur.
- Blend mascarpone cheese with cherry preserves until smooth and creamy.
- Dip ladyfingers briefly into the coffee mixture and layer half at the bottom of your baking dish.
- Spread half of the creamy mascarpone mixture over the first layer of ladyfingers.
- Repeat the process with another set of ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least four hours or overnight.
