Prepare the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
- Add warm water and olive oil, then mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Shape and Fill
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Once risen, punch down the dough and transfer it to a baking tray.
- Press the dough out into a rectangle, about 1 inch thick.
- Make small indentations in the dough with your fingers, then fill each indentation with jam.
Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
