Hot Honey Chicken Bowl

A delicious meal featuring tender chicken drizzled in a sweet and spicy honey glaze, served over rice or quinoa with mixed vegetables.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup hot honey
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas)
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice

Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients and chop your vegetables.
  2. Pat each chicken breast dry and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes on each side.
  4. Whisk together hot honey, soy sauce, and lime juice, then pour over the chicken.
  5. Add mixed vegetables during the last few minutes of cooking.
  6. Serve with rice or quinoa, topped with sliced chicken and remaining sauce.
