Prepare the Marinade
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, chopped green onion, and black pepper. Mix well until sugar is dissolved.
- Add the chicken legs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.
Cook the Chicken
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Remove chicken legs from the marinade and shake off excess. Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
