Ingredients
  

Crescent Roll Dough
  • 1 package crescent roll dough refrigerated
Pecan Filling
  • 1 cup chopped pecans lightly toasted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup light or dark
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Topping
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, beaten egg, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  2. Set the filling aside to let it thicken slightly.
Assemble the Rolls
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. Place a spoonful of the pecan filling at the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll the dough from the wide end to the tip, enclosing the filling.
  5. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the Rolls
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  3. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
