Prepare the Ingredients
- Wash and trim the asparagus, then cut it into 2-inch pieces.
- Peel and devein the shrimp if not already done.
- Slice the bell pepper, mince the garlic and ginger.
Make the Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch mixed with water, and honey.
Stir Fry
- Heat a wok over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil.
- Add the garlic and ginger, stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the asparagus and bell pepper, stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Pour the sauce over the stir-fry and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until thickened.
Serve
- Remove from heat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot.
