Ingredients
  

  • 2 sticks butter at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, and creamy peanut butter. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop the dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake small cookies for about 8–10 minutes and jumbo ones for about 11–12 minutes. Let cool on sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
