Spicy Ricotta Dip with Hot Honey

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh ricotta cheese around 475g
  • 1/2 unit lemon grated zest and juice from half
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup runny honey
  • 1 teaspoon spicy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed chili flakes
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons freshly chopped rosemary
  • 1/4 cup walnuts chopped

Method
 

  1. Start by adding the ricotta cheese into a mixing bowl. Add in the grated lemon zest and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  2. Sprinkle in the salt and add a dash of black pepper. Drizzle in one tablespoon of olive oil and mix until well combined.
  3. Stir in the runny honey along with one teaspoon of your favorite spicy sauce and half a teaspoon of crushed chili flakes. Mix until smooth.
  4. Fold in freshly chopped rosemary and chopped walnuts. Serve immediately or let it chill briefly in the fridge.
