Ingredients

Filling
  • 1 cup fresh spinach chopped
  • 1 cup artichoke hearts canned or frozen, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Bread
  • 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread

Method

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Set the filling aside.
Prepare the Bread
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise, creating a top and bottom half.
  3. Scoop out some of the bread from the center to create space for the filling.
Stuff the Bread
  1. Spread the spinach and artichoke filling evenly inside the hollowed-out bread.
  2. Place the top half of the bread back on and wrap the entire loaf in aluminum foil.
Bake
  1. Place the wrapped bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until heated through.
  2. Remove from the oven, unwrap, and let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
