Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels unsalted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter melted
Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping thawed
Topping
  • 1 pkg strawberry jello 3 oz
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries fresh or frozen

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow to cool completely.
Make the Filling
  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
Prepare the Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry jello in boiling water.
  2. Stir in the sliced strawberries.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then pour over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until set.
