Ingredients
  

Sweet and Spicy Honey Pepper Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Creamy Mac and Cheese
  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 2 cups milk whole
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, sriracha, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Add chicken breasts to the bowl and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
Make the Mac and Cheese
  1. Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a pot, melt butter over medium heat, then whisk in flour to create a roux.
  3. Gradually add milk while whisking until the mixture thickens.
  4. Stir in cream cheese and cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine the cheese sauce with the cooked macaroni and season with mustard powder and salt.
Serve
  1. Plate the sweet and spicy chicken alongside a generous serving of creamy mac and cheese.
  2. Garnish with additional black pepper if desired.

Notes
