  • 12 Kings Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 pound cooked chicken tenders
  • ½ cup marinara sauce
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 8 ounces sliced fresh mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Split the Kings Hawaiian rolls in half without tearing them apart.
  3. Place the bottom halves in a baking dish. Layer with six slices of provolone cheese.
  4. Add the cooked chicken tenders on top and drizzle with marinara sauce.
  5. Layer eight ounces of sliced fresh mozzarella on top, followed by chopped basil.
  6. Cover with the top halves of the rolls.
  7. In a bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic, parsley, grated parmesan, and sea salt; brush over the roll tops.
  8. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
