  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened dark cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (15 oz) pure pumpkin puree
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Spray a 9-inch round tart pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt. Make a well in the center.
  3. Pour melted butter into the dry mixture and mix until crumbly. Press into the bottom and sides of the prepared tart pan.
  4. Bake crust for 10 minutes; remove from oven and cool slightly.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, egg, pumpkin pie spice, and additional salt until smooth.
  6. Pour filling into cooled crust and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until set with a slight jiggle.
  7. Cool for at least one hour before serving.
