Ingredients

  • 24 oz. dill pickles about 5-6
  • ¼ cup flour gluten-free 1-to-1
  • 1 whole egg
  • 2 Tbsp. milk oat, cashew, or soy
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs plain
  • ½ tsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ¾ - 1 tsp. salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • non-stick cooking spray

Method

  1. Slice dill pickles into ¼-inch slices, discarding the ends.
  2. Set up three shallow bowls: Bowl 1 with flour, Bowl 2 with whisked egg and milk, Bowl 3 with breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dip each pickle slice in flour, then egg wash, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Arrange half of the coated pickle slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray. Cook at 400 degrees for about 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Repeat with remaining slices.
  4. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
